Our company is a family business, now in the third generation.

1925 Kurt Urbich starts the business and leads it until his death in 1945

1945 His widow, Margarete Urbich takes over the management

1948 Their son, Hans Urbich, takes over management after renturning from POW

1972 Government expropriates the ownership and nationalizes the company. It becomes a part of "Kombinat Technisches Glas Ilmenau". Hans Urbich gets called as managing director for the "Fertigungsbereich Martinroda" section.

1991 The owner family buys back the company (Re-Privatization). Continuing under the renowned company name Henneberg & Co. Martinroda.

1994 Heide-Marie Schütz takes over management after her father, Hans Urbich, passed away.
